Exploring adoption is never an easy decision to make. And neither are your other options. And remember; you do have options. Ultimately, you need to feel confident and comfortable with your final decision. It will be a decision you have to live with the remainder of your life.

Rape or Incest: Becoming pregnant after rape or an incestual relationship can be incredibly difficult with which to deal. This is because it can be physically and emotionally damaging. In this type of situation, the first thing you should do is alert the local authorities. In this specific section, you’ll find information on who exactly to contact, support groups, healing and counseling, your options during pregnancy, and available aid and help. This is something you don’t have to go through alone. Surround yourself with people you love and trust. You will get through it. You can find happiness and peace on the other side of healing.

Drug Exposure: This can be a very dangerous situation in which to be. Not only can it be harmful to you, but to your growing child as well. In this section, you’ll get more information about seeing your doctor, support groups, and counseling. The first thing you’ll need to do is to visit with a doctor so he or she can make sure your baby is healthy, and to get the help you need.

Married & Placing: It’s a common misconception that if you’re married, you shouldn’t need to place your child. This simply is not the case. A married person can experience an unplanned pregnancy just as a non-married person can. This section will help you understand how to talk to your spouse about possible placement, and how to get the support you need to make an informed decision.

Financial Reasons: Having and raising a child is expensive. And some find that they will not be able to financially support a child. That doesn’t make you any less of a person. And some find that placing their child with an adoptive family is a great option—among their many other options.

In School: Whether you’re in high school, college, or graduate school, it can be overwhelming to have a child and continue your education. Perhaps you’re not ready to parent. And that’s ok. Making an informed decision is the best decision you can make. So, study out all your options, and decide what is best for both you and your baby.

Life can be a challenge. And adding an unplanned pregnancy to an already hectic life can add to that stress. There isn’t just one decision that works for everyone. Because everyone is in a different stage of life and in a different situation, it is important to study out all your options before you make a final decision.

Pregnancy Tips
It is generally recommended to not fly after the 35th week of pregnancy. Before you take any trips, make sure to speak with your doctor first. S/he can let you know if you're physically able to fly.
